In İzmir, Türkiye, at the Soydan Group cylinder plant in the Atatürk Organised Industrial Zone (AOSB 10039 Sk. No: 21/1, Çiğli). The plant is operated by the group company ERS Hidrolik Silindir Sanayi A.Ş.; design, machining, welding, honing, chrome plating, assembly and testing all happen there. The cylinders are sold as Hydrocyl™ and quoted and delivered through Soydan Hidrolik.

ISO 6020-1 (mobile cylinders, family HYC-N), ISO 6020-2 / CETOP (tie-rod cylinders, HYC-T) and ISO 6022 (round-flange heavy-duty cylinders, HYC-F), plus welded heavy-duty (HYC-W), mill-type / OEM-drawing (HYC-M) and servo (HYC-S) constructions. Welding is certified to EN ISO 3834-2 and every cylinder is tested to ISO 10100.

Standard manufacture covers bores Ø25–400 mm, rods Ø16–280 mm and strokes up to 4,000 mm. On a project basis the envelope extends to Ø1,000 mm bore, Ø700 mm rod, 12,000 mm stroke and 400 bar working pressure. Family ranges: HYC-N Ø25–200 mm at 160/210 bar; HYC-T Ø25–320 mm at 160/250 bar; HYC-F Ø50–400 mm at 250/350 bar; HYC-W Ø40–400 mm (Ø1,000 mm project) to 400 bar.

100% of production is pressure-tested to ISO 10100 at working pressure and at 1.5 times working pressure (for example at least 525 bar for the HYC-F range) on in-house test benches, and each cylinder ships with a serialised test report. Welded joints pass NDT Level II inspection before testing; the stroke and cushioning function are verified against the drawing.

Yes. Active export markets are the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France and Morocco. UK enquiries are handled from the London office (Building 3, Chiswick Park, London W4 5YA, +44 20 8899 6000) and quoted in GBP or EUR; delivery is typically DAP to the customer's site in ISPM-15 heat-treated crates. Soydan-built cylinders are also distributed in Europe by Wessel-Hydraulik.
